Stoughton, Wisconsin – February 2, 2010:  Today, former Wood Digest Magazine Publisher, Jay Schneider, and Sales Manager, Ross Scovotti, officially announced the creation of their 21st Century media company, NueMedia, LLC. Stage one of the NueMedia business model mixes the power of print publishing with the newest high tech communication methods to provide pinpoint business-to-business (B2B) communications. Blending the best of the electronic and print publishing worlds, NueMedia’s approach identifies and reaches the right prospects with the right message at the right time.

 

According to NueMedia President Ross Scovotti, reliance on print media is short-lived. “For years, those in the business information industry relied on magazines and other print assets. But print is dying and those who cling to it are dying along with it,” said Scovotti. “We deliver information via electronic media. As we begin, NueMedia will produce print publications for Conferences and Trade Shows in conjunction with information rich Digital Information Portals, [DIPs] in multiple industries. However, our plan is to replace print with electronics, where possible, in the not so distant future.

 

NueMedia’s first project will be for the International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair [IWF]. The company will produce two traditional print publications; a Pre-Show Planner and Show Daily for IWF’s 2010 event that will take place in Atlanta, GA in August.

 

NueMedia is also developing a Digital Information Portal (DIP), for the woodworking industry, WoodIQ.com. The DIP will provide IWF exhibitors with unique opportunities to deliver targeted digital messages before, during and after the show. NueMedia will work with exhibitors to find just the right mix of these three media offerings to effectively connect with new prospects and/or solidify relationships with existing customers.

 

According to Jay Schneider, NueMedia’s Vice President, “A project of this magnitude requires both trade publishing experience and advanced digital assets. The Commercial Woodworking Industry is just the first of several targeted by NueMedia in 2010 and 2011. The company will also expand its offerings to associations and conference organizers with new applications presently on the drawing board that will transform cost centers into revenue centers. “The DIPs are just the beginning of what will be the evolution of an enterprise that has no resemblance to any company that exists in today. We at NueMedia are the pioneers in what will absolutely become mainstream before the end of this decade,” Scovotti stated.
